The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing shift operations to efficiently execute T1 and T2 load plans while meeting internal and external customer service requirements. This role ensures effective inventory control, high quality standards, strong productivity, and safe warehouse operations.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Lead and physically conduct daily inventory counts
- Identify root causes of inventory variances and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy
- Track and trend inventory accuracy KPIs and ensure all material movements are accurately recorded in SAP
- Reduce supply chain overheads through structured problem-solving initiatives
- Implement and manage warehouse tools to ensure FEFO compliance
Warehouse Layout and Control
- Ensure strict adherence to warehouse layout standards across designated zones
- Maintain a location-based inventory system for accurate product identification
- Enforce blocking standards for non-conforming inventory
Quality Standards and Compliance
- Manage and monitor warehouse cleanliness, pest control, temperature control, and prevention of cross-contamination
- Ensure compliance with Global Warehouse GOP standards
- Conduct product quality induction programmes
- Track and improve repacking quality, accuracy, and productivity
Picking and Loading Operations
- Ensure adherence to standardized picking processes to drive safety, accuracy, and productivity
- Monitor picking accuracy and productivity using performance management tools
- Track and improve loading and unloading bay utilization, turnaround time, and labor efficiency
Productivity and Capacity Management
- Ensure compliance with Warehouse Labour Productivity GOP targets
- Allocate labor effectively using workforce planning tools
- Monitor capacity utilization and implement productivity improvement actions
Warehouse Management and Continuous Improvement
- Implement, track, and improve 5S standards
- Support the development and implementation of SOPs, SLAs, process maps, and performance indicators
- Facilitate regular team meetings to address issues and drive performance
- Develop and maintain supply chain logistics routines and ensure adherence
- Apply structured problem-solving tools to improve KPIs and performance indicators
- Cascade KPIs to individual employees and monitor progress against targets
Safety and Governance
- Ensure a safe warehouse environment through strict adherence to safety standards and procedures
- Promote safety awareness and compliance across all warehouse activities

Minimum Requirements
- Three-year relevant diploma or degree
- Minimum of two years’ experience in warehouse or logistics operations
- Advanced computer literacy, including MS Office and warehouse systems
- SAP proficiency
- Experience using handheld devices and operational systems
