About the Role
Value Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Vehicle Monitoring Coordinator to support daily operational efficiency through effective vehicle tracking, incident management, and accurate reporting. This role plays a critical part in minimising vehicle downtime, ensuring compliance with company procedures, and maintaining high standards of safety, communication, and professionalism.
The Vehicle Monitoring Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring fleet activity, managing faults and incidents, and ensuring that all vehicle-related matters are addressed promptly to support seamless service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Monitoring & Incident Management
- Monitor fleet vehicles in line with company procedures and operational guidelines
- Identify, record, and report deviations or exceptions without delay
- Ensure all system alarms are acknowledged and actioned within required timeframes
- Respond professionally to incidents and accidents, following established company protocols
Communication & Reporting
- Request or receive daily route sheets from the relevant business units
- Accurately capture and maintain operational and vehicle performance data
- Compile and distribute operational reports timeously to relevant stakeholders
- Log and report all unusual events or occurrences accurately and comprehensively
Fault Management & Repairs
- Update vehicle faults daily on the relevant system or tracking log
- Communicate reported faults to appropriate departments or responsible personnel
- Follow up consistently to ensure vehicle repairs are completed effectively and on time
Operational Support
- Provide assistance with operational duties as required
- Maintain professional conduct when interacting with staff, customers, and external stakeholders
- Adhere to company dress code and grooming standards as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures
Housekeeping, Health & Safety
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment daily
- Comply with all Health and Safety regulations and promote safe working practices at all times
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
