Job Description
We are seeking a proactive Trainee Regional to support the implementation of the PEP People Support strategy within the assigned region. This role focuses on managing people support functions effectively, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and fostering a strong workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment and selection processes within the region.
- Assist with industrial relations and employee relations matters.
- Manage personnel administration and maintain accurate records.
- Promote and uphold the Sikhula KunYe culture.
- Ensure compliance with personnel policies and procedures.
- Contribute to succession planning initiatives.
- Support training and development activities for employees.
- Provide operational support to line management.
Skills Required
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain culture.
- Logical reasoning, negotiation, and influencing capabilities.
- Service-oriented mindset with coaching and learning orientation.
- Effective planning and organisational skills.
- Problem assessment, decision-making, and business acumen.

- Team player capable of working independently when required.
- Ability to work under pressure and follow established routines.
Job Incumbent Requirements
- Grade 12 plus a relevant Honours degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
- Retail knowledge and experience is an advantage.
- Computer literate, with proficiency in Google Suite.
- Valid Code 8 manual driver’s license with willingness to travel extensively.
