Store Manager – Pep Vacancies

Purpose of the Position
The Store Manager is responsible for leading the store team to achieve key business performance targets. This includes driving sales growth, controlling costs, reducing risks and stock loss, managing store administration, and maintaining world-class store standards.

Key Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Service
Drive sales performance by delivering excellent customer service, maintaining exceptional store standards, managing stock effectively, and ensuring successful implementation of promotions while upholding the store image.

Stock Loss and Risk Control
Reduce stock loss by promoting a positive store culture and ensuring strict compliance with security procedures, stock control processes, and cash handling standards.

Cost Management
Control and manage store costs by promoting efficiency and aligning with the company’s low-cost operating culture.

Store Administration
Ensure all store administrative tasks are completed accurately and in line with company policies and procedures.

Team Leadership and Development
Lead and motivate a high-energy team by providing training, coaching, and performance management to ensure team success.

Store Standards and Compliance
Maintain high levels of health, safety, housekeeping, and overall store presentation standards.

Job Requirements
Education and Experience
Grade 12 is required. A relevant qualification in business or retail will be advantageous. Candidates should ideally have 1–2 years of experience in a retail leadership role.

Skills and Knowledge
Good command of English is required. Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite, will be an advantage.

Strong passion for retail and commitment to delivering a world-class customer experience. High levels of integrity and dedication. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Strong management capability with the ability to plan, organise, lead, and control operations effectively. Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment.
