Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead and manage all aspects of store operations while delivering outstanding financial performance and customer experiences. Key responsibilities include:
- Driving and maximising sales, tracking daily, weekly, and monthly targets, and taking proactive actions to achieve financial objectives
- Managing all operational activities, including expenses, stock control, shrinkage prevention, housekeeping, and administration
- Overseeing visual merchandising to ensure in-store presentation, promotional standards, and brand image are maintained
- Leading, developing, and motivating store employees to build capacity and capability to meet current and future business needs
- Scheduling staff in line with labour policies to ensure departments are fully staffed
- Managing administrative tasks efficiently, including weekly time and attendance, and maintaining employee records
- Executing customer service initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, drive loyalty, and achieve club card participation targets
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centres to maximise business opportunities
- Monitoring customer trends, demographics, and competitor activity to capitalise on opportunities
- Driving integration and collaboration between store operations, pharmacy, and clinic teams
- Fostering a high-performing business culture that delivers employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and shareholder value
- Supporting Clicks’ vision to be the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer by embodying and promoting company values
Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of financial management principles
- Retail/FMCG experience with knowledge of merchandising and promotions
- Stock, cost, risk, and compliance management
