Overview

The Site Manager is responsible for ensuring that site operations are managed efficiently and professionally. This role focuses on supervising security personnel, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring that all operational activities align with company standards and objectives. The Site Manager reports directly to the Operations Manager and is expected to contribute to the overall success and performance of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Site Operations Management

• Ensure the site operates efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to support effective security operations.
• Maintain expert knowledge of all operational aspects related to the position.

Client Relations

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client communication and service-related matters.
• Ensure that client expectations and service standards are consistently met.

People Management

• Supervise and manage security personnel to ensure performance standards are maintained at all times.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members.
• Monitor staff performance and address operational challenges when necessary.
• Manage staff turnover and maintain team stability.

Administration and Compliance

• Manage administrative duties related to site operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and security regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to site activities.
• Apply sound disciplinary procedures when required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Grade 12 / Standard 10 or equivalent qualification.
• Previous supervisory or junior management experience.
• PSIRA Grade A registration.
• AVSEC Level 3 (Cargo) certification.
• DGR – Group A certification.
• CAT6 certification.
• At least 5 years of experience in the security industry.

Job Requirements

• Computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint considered advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license (Code 08/EB) and reliable personal transport.
• Strong knowledge of disciplinary procedures.
• Clean disciplinary record.
