Be part of a company where passion and purpose come together! Pick n Pay is looking for a dedicated Service Area Assistant Deli to ensure smooth operations in the deli section while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stack and store products safely and neatly
• Merchandise products according to company standards
• Correctly price random weight/loose items and check labels for accuracy
• Inspect product quality, rotate stock, and remove expired items
• Minimise wastage, shrinkage, and damage
• Check temperatures and maintain the cold chain where applicable
• Adhere to and uphold security procedures
• Operate and clean equipment according to standards
• Assist and advise customers on products, respond to requests, and provide courteous service
• Process all customer orders following correct procedures and service standards
• Promote products effectively to customers

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 qualification
• Computer literacy advantageous
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Must reside close to the store
