About the Program
Truworths, one of South Africa’s leading fashion retailers, is seeking a Senior Head Office Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. This role provides exposure to both local and international entities within the Truworths Group (South Africa & UK) and offers the opportunity to work with talented professionals in a supportive, growth-focused environment. The role is ideal for individuals who value accountability, consistency, and long-term excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk and control assessments, process design evaluations, and identify opportunities for improvement in financial and operational processes.
• Perform integrated audits and risk-based process audits.
• Execute control design testing, effectiveness testing, and substantive testing, including analytical reviews.
• Prepare clear and comprehensive audit reports.
• Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant B-degree.
• Professional certification (e.g., CIA) advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Internal Audit.
• Proven experience managing audit timelines and deliverables end-to-end.
• Exposure to business processes and the ability to perform end-to-end risk-based audits independently.
• Experience auditing Finance Department processes is advantageous.
• Internal Audit experience within the retail sector is a plus.
