Job Description
Truworths Careers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front-End Developer to join our team. This role focuses on developing enterprise-level applications across merchandising ERP systems and e-commerce platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders and team members to design, develop, and deliver robust, user-friendly solutions in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead front-end development with emphasis on client-side design and implementation
- Participate in full-stack development where required
- Analyse, design, and implement robust systems and applications
- Develop and maintain relational data models
- Collaborate effectively with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Mentor and share knowledge with junior developers
- Document technical requirements and maintain clear communication with business users
Qualifications and Experience
- BSc or BCom in Information Systems, IT/IS Diploma, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in software development
- Strong expertise in React, Angular, C#, TypeScript, and JavaScript with relational database knowledge
- Experience with Bitbucket or similar cloud repository services
- Proficiency in REST services
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with business users
- Experience documenting technical requirements from business briefs

- Agile methodology experience, particularly SCRUM
- React, NextJS, REST, TypeScript, CSS

- Oracle Cloud Commerce and e-commerce platforms
- Oracle Database and SQL Server (SSAS/SSIS)
- Automated testing principles and proven testing methodologies
- Browser developer tools and Safari/iOS experience
