Role Purpose
PepsiCo Vacancies is seeking a Sales Supervisor to drive revenue growth, manage key retail accounts, and ensure excellent in-store execution across assigned sales channels. The Sales Supervisor will lead frontline sales execution, supervise promotional teams, manage service levels, and build strong customer relationships to deliver sales targets in a competitive FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance & Execution

  • Achieve sales targets and revenue growth within modern trade and assigned channels.
  • Ensure high standards of in-store execution, product availability, and merchandising.
  • Conduct route ridings, sales meetings, and route optimization to improve coverage and efficiency.
  • Control pricing, discounts, and promotional execution in line with commercial strategy.

Customer & Channel Management

  • Manage and grow relationships with store managers, merchandisers, and key account managers.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key customers to assess performance and growth opportunities.
  • Support customers by ensuring consistent service levels and effective issue resolution.
  • Manage multiple channels including wholesale, away-from-home, forecourts, and modern trade.

Promotions, Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Compile and implement sales and promotional plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Supervise and lead the promotions team to ensure effective execution and delivery.
  • Prepare and submit accurate weekly sales and performance reports.
  • Collect, analyze, and report competitor and market intelligence to support decision-making.

Stock & Availability Management

  • Track stock levels to drive product availability and prevent out-of-stock situations.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure optimal replenishment and service delivery.

Qualifications & Experience
Education

  • Matric with a Certificate or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management

Experience

  • 3–5 years’ relevant experience within an FMCG sales environment
  • Proven experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
  • Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, data-driven, and reporting capabilities
  • Solid understanding of the modern trade environment
  • Proficiency in SAP, DSD, MM, SD, and MS Office applications
  • Business planning, vendor management, and budgeting skills are advantageous
  • Valid Code 10 driver’s license
