Role Overview – Sales Supervisor
The Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and driving the performance of van sales representatives to achieve maximum sales growth, profitability, and market expansion. This role ensures effective execution of sales strategies, operational discipline, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote a strong customer-focused sales culture within the team
  • Conduct daily gate meetings, focusing on performance, execution, and key discipline KPIs
  • Coach and mentor sales representatives to improve capability and overall performance
  • Provide hands-on in-market coaching and support to van sales teams
  • Ensure full coverage and 100% outlet visit compliance across assigned routes
  • Conduct joint customer visits to resolve issues and strengthen relationships
  • Drive business development initiatives to grow the customer base and increase market share
  • Participate in meetings and align with organizational objectives and strategic direction
  • Implement effective internal and external strategies to support business growth
  • Facilitate training sessions in collaboration with the training team to build critical skills
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Analyze sales data and apply insights to improve sales outcomes and drive volume growth

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Commercial Studies, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an FMCG environment, including at least 1 year in a sales role
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong customer relationship management skills
  • Results-driven with the ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective planning and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate teams
