Job Overview

The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales performance and supporting the activities of Van Sales Representatives to achieve maximum profitability and growth. This role focuses on execution excellence, customer engagement, and expanding the customer base in line with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily Gate Meetings before market operations, focusing on month-to-date performance, execution, and discipline KPIs.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate Van Sales Representatives to improve performance and sales effectiveness.
  • Provide in-market coaching and support to ensure consistent execution standards.
  • Ensure 100% outlet coverage within assigned routes.
  • Conduct customer visits to resolve issues and strengthen relationships.
  • Drive business development initiatives to grow and expand the customer base.
  • Attend meetings as required to align with business strategies and objectives.
  • Develop and implement action plans to increase sales growth and market share.
  • Adapt to strategic changes and align execution accordingly.
  • Facilitate regular training sessions in collaboration with the training team on key business skills.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 3-year Business or Commercial tertiary qualification, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an FMCG environment, with at least 1 year in a sales role.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to drive results, build relationships, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
