Sales Representative – Value Logistics

Purpose of the Job
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth by developing new business opportunities and managing existing customer accounts across retail, commercial, and industrial sectors. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, achieving sales targets, and delivering tailored logistics solutions that meet customer needs while supporting the company’s revenue and market expansion objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new customers across multiple market segments
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts to drive repeat and long-term business
  • Consistently achieve or exceed agreed sales targets and performance indicators
  • Manage customer credit applications, payment terms, and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Present, promote, and sell company products and services to prospective and existing clients
  • Address customer enquiries, resolve issues, and overcome objections professionally
  • Gather and record market intelligence including customer feedback, competitor activity, and pricing trends
  • Implement sales strategies aligned with overall business and marketing initiatives
  • Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Adhere to daily route plans and ensure all customer visits are completed as scheduled

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant sales experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
