Purpose of the Job
Value Logistics is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative responsible for managing and expanding sales across a diverse customer base, including retail, commercial, and industrial clients. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, increasing revenue, and delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs across multiple market sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new customer opportunities across various industries and sectors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators
  • Manage customer credit accounts, payment terms, and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Present and promote company products and services to both existing and prospective customers
  • Provide effective solutions to customer challenges and handle objections professionally
  • Monitor and document customer feedback, competitor activities, and market pricing trends
  • Implement sales strategies that align with the company’s broader marketing initiatives
  • Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Follow assigned daily route plans and conduct customer visits according to schedule

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant sales experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
