Sales Representative – Value Logistics

Purpose of the Role

The Sales Representative is responsible for developing and managing sales opportunities across a wide customer base that includes retail, commercial, and industrial clients. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and driving revenue growth by providing solutions that meet customer needs across multiple market sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customer opportunities across different industries and sectors

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business

• Achieve and exceed defined sales targets and key performance indicators

• Manage customer credit accounts, including payment terms and follow-ups on outstanding payments

• Present and promote company products and services to both existing and prospective customers

• Provide effective solutions to customer challenges and address objections professionally

• Monitor customer feedback, competitor activity, and market pricing trends

• Implement sales strategies that align with company marketing initiatives

• Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly sales reports

• Follow daily route plans and ensure customer visits are completed according to schedule

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric)

• 5 to 10 years of relevant sales experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
