About the Role
Value Logistics is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to manage and grow sales across a diverse customer base, including retail, commercial, and industrial clients. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, strengthening existing relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth by delivering tailored logistics and service solutions to meet client needs.
The Sales Representative plays a key role in expanding market presence, achieving sales targets, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Account Management
- Identify and develop new customer opportunities across various market sectors
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business
- Achieve or exceed established sales targets and performance KPIs
- Present and promote company products and services to current and prospective customers
- Provide tailored solutions to customer challenges and effectively overcome objections
- Execute sales strategies aligned with broader marketing initiatives
Customer & Financial Coordination
- Manage customer credit accounts and agreed payment terms
- Conduct follow-ups on outstanding payments in line with company procedures
- Monitor customer feedback, competitor activity, and market pricing trends
Reporting & Planning
- Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly sales reports
- Follow structured daily route plans and ensure scheduled customer visits are completed on time
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 5–10 years of related sales experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
