Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the retail branch strategy to grow the customer base and revenue.
- Guide, integrate, and standardise activities, goals, and objectives of branch Sales Consultants in line with strategy.
- Lead a service delivery culture to provide an optimal client experience within and outside the branch.
- Manage the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the retail branch.
- Drive retail branch sales delivery and establish a high-performing service culture.
- Ensure compliance, quality, and risk management across branch operations.
- Oversee operational people practices for direct reports, including talent management, performance management, individual development, grievance resolution, leave allocation, and capacity management.
- Plan and report monthly on sales and service activities in the branch.
- Identify key internal and external stakeholders and implement effective engagement strategies to build and maintain relationships.
Education and Experience
- Matric (Grade 12).
- RE1 and RE5 licenses.
- 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognised by the FSCA.
- Class of Business accreditation (annual).
- Compliance with CPD cycles (current and past).
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Service management experience.
- Insurance sales experience.
- Credit and lending experience.
