Introduction
Clicks Group Careers is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead the dispensary and clinic operations, ensuring service excellence and high standards of pharmaceutical care. This role drives business performance by meeting sales and compliance targets, enhancing customer experience, and giving the brand a competitive advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities
Pharmaceutical Care and Compliance
- Deliver high standards of pharmaceutical care, including accurate and safe dispensing, generic substitution, and professional advice, in line with Clicks’ procedures, good pharmacy practice, and SAPC regulations.
Operational Management
- Oversee all dispensary operations, including stock management, shrinkage prevention, housekeeping, and administrative processes, ensuring compliance with merchandising standards, SAPC regulations, and company policies.
Financial and Performance Oversight
- Ensure dispensary viability through sound financial management, focus on core dispensary and clinic targets, expense control, and proactive decision-making.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, manage, and develop employees, including learners and interns, through effective selection, coaching, and ongoing development to build a capable and motivated team.
Staff Scheduling and Labour Management
- Schedule staff in line with labour policies and models, ensuring departments are fully staffed and employee records, including weekly time and attendance, are accurate and submitted to HR.
Customer Experience and Loyalty
- Implement customer service initiatives to deliver exceptional experiences, drive customer loyalty, and achieve club card participation targets.
Integrated Healthcare Offering
- Promote collaboration between the dispensary, clinic, and healthcare aisle teams to provide customers with a complete healthcare solution.
Business Culture and Values
- Drive cohesion, consistency, and integration across store, pharmacy, and clinic teams.
- Promote a high-performing culture that enhances employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and shareholder value.
