Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care and ensure the safe, accurate dispensing of medicines in accordance with Clicks’ standards, good pharmacy practice, and SAPC regulations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care, including generic substitution and professional advice
  • Managing all dispensary operations, including stock control, shrinkage prevention, housekeeping, and administrative tasks in line with merchandising standards and SAPC regulations
  • Ensuring the operational efficiency and profitability of the dispensary through focus on core targets
  • Overseeing the training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Interns to maintain competency and motivation, in line with SAPC requirements
  • Driving customer service initiatives to ensure an exceptional customer experience, foster loyalty, and achieve club card participation targets
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centres to achieve business objectives
  • Supporting integration with clinics and the healthcare aisle to provide comprehensive healthcare solutions to customers
  • Upholding and promoting the company’s values to support Clicks’ vision of being the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer

Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience:

  • Registered Pharmacist with SAPC (essential)
  • Retail pharmacy experience (desirable)
  • Unisolve experience (desirable)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of SAPC regulations and relevant legal requirements
  • Ethical work practices and compliance
  • Stock, cost, risk, and compliance management
  • Patient care and professional counselling
  • Customer service excellence
  • Tutoring and coaching abilities
