Introduction
Clicks Group Careers is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the dispensary. The Pharmacist will deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care, support compliance and sales targets, and contribute to the brand’s competitive advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities
Professional Pharmaceutical Care
Provide high standards of pharmaceutical care, ensuring accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, and offering professional advice in line with Clicks’ procedures, good pharmacy practice, and the legal scope of practice outlined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
Dispensary Operations
Efficiently manage all dispensary operations, including responsible stock management, preventing shrinkage, maintaining general housekeeping, and overseeing administration according to SAPC regulations, merchandising standards, and company policies.
Performance and Target Management
Ensure the dispensary meets core operational and clinic targets, maintaining business viability and supporting overall company performance.
Team Leadership and Development
Oversee, train, and develop Pharmacist Assistants and Pharmacist Interns in line with SAPC requirements, fostering a competent and motivated team.
Customer Service Excellence
Implement initiatives to deliver a superior customer experience, drive customer loyalty, and achieve club card participation targets.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong working relationships with centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centres to achieve business objectives and maximise opportunities.
Integrated Healthcare Offering
Collaborate with clinic and healthcare aisle teams to provide customers with a comprehensive healthcare solution.
