Packaging Team Leader – Sab Vacancies
Key Purpose:
Lead the SBU in executing the production plan, ensuring quality control, performing autonomous maintenance tasks, and resolving production issues efficiently.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and perform scheduled maintenance activities.
- Monitor and oversee production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards.
- Interpret and implement the production plan for each shift.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and preferred suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with administrative systems and procedures.
- Administer conditions of employment for team members.
- Contribute to personal and team development initiatives.
- Prepare, manage, and control production budgets.
- Apply effective problem-solving and decision-making techniques.
- Facilitate team-based problem-solving sessions.
- Mentor and develop employees for optimal performance.
- Promote and maintain a healthy industrial relations climate.
- Manage and apply personnel practices according to company standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Instrumentation, Chemical, or Process Engineering.
- Completion of Packaging Traineeship, ABInBev Leadership Program, or Artisan Training.
- 3–5 years of factory production experience.
- Demonstrated experience in shift production management.
- Strong performance record with a disciplined work ethic, problem-solving skills, and commitment to continuous improvement.
