About the Role

The Mobile Team Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing mobile outreach activities to achieve programme targets and performance goals. This role works closely with the Professional Nurse (team lead) to develop strategies for reaching high-risk Men who have Sex with Men (MSM) with HIV testing, treatment, PrEP, and other healthcare services, while ensuring client retention in care over time.

Key Responsibilities

Logistical Support, Planning, and Client Coordination

  • Design and implement in-person and digital outreach strategies to engage new and existing MSM clients
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date client cohort database
  • Coordinate client scheduling with the Professional Nurse and ensure attendance and confirmation of appointments
  • Ensure all equipment, commodities, and vehicles are prepared, maintained, and available for daily activities

Implementation of Community-Based Activities and Mobile Clinical Services

  • Safely transport outreach teams to designated locations as required
  • Support delivery of HIV testing services (HTS), PrEP, index testing, EPOA, and ART in line with organisational protocols and Department of Health guidelines
  • Conduct community-based workshops and other required outreach activities to increase service uptake

Reporting and Administrative Support

  • Provide daily reports on outreach activities to the Professional Nurse
  • Ensure clinical and programme data is accurately captured and managed according to data management SOPs
  • Assist with administrative duties and other programme-related tasks as required

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience in coordinating mobile outreach teams or healthcare programmes
  • Knowledge of HIV testing, PrEP, ART, and related community-based interventions
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate schedules efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to data quality and accurate reporting
