Mobile Driver / Data Capturer

Anova Vacancies are seeking a reliable Mobile Driver / Data Capturer to ensure the safe transportation of staff and outreach teams, manage mobile clinic operations, and support data management and administrative tasks. This role combines logistics, outreach support, and accurate data capturing to facilitate efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Transport and Logistics

• Safely transport staff to outreach sites and offices
• Manage and maintain the mobile clinic or work vehicle
• Keep accurate records of fuel, mileage, and vehicle maintenance
• Load and unload field equipment such as chairs, tents, and generators
• Report vehicle damages and comply with road safety regulations
• Follow Anova’s vehicle policy and submit weekly vehicle inspection checklists

Outreach Support

• Provide youth-centred information, self-care advice, and risk reduction strategies during outreach activities
• Support the Human Rights Ambassador with education on GBV, PrEP, and SRH
• Link HIV-positive clients to care and initiate ART where applicable
• Ensure IQC compliance and proper waste/infection control
• Manage HTS supplies and maintain appropriate storage

Administrative and Data Support

• Complete and submit client data daily to meet targets
• Perform delegated administrative tasks while maintaining professional conduct
• Build relationships with health facilities to support client linkage
• Submit timesheets and required documentation on time

Data Capturing and Management

• Follow SOPs for data management and quality processes
• Prepare and capture client folders into electronic medical records systems
• Conduct routine data audits and generate reports for key indicators
• Participate in data quality improvement activities and generate line lists for patient and programme management
• Ensure proper filing and data management systems
• Maintain compliance and confidentiality in all data handling processes

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence with PDP
• Minimum of 3 years’ driving experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management and organisational abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
