Education
- Matric / Grade 12 (NQF Level 3)
- NQF Level 2 Bakery Skills Training
- Relevant bakery or baking qualification or certification
Experience
- Proven bakery experience
- Previous experience in a Bakery Supervisor or Manager role
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Bakery Department
- Plan and manage daily production to meet customer demand and sales targets
- Schedule staff to ensure effective coverage and productivity
- Order, receive, and control stock in line with company procedures
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and housekeeping
- Train, coach, and motivate staff to achieve performance standards
- Implement ongoing training and development initiatives
- Monitor and control wastage to maximise profitability
- Ensure consistent product quality and availability
Competencies
