Job Description
Fidelity is seeking a proactive Junior Branch Manager to oversee the overall operations, sales, marketing, and administrative functions of the branch. This role focuses on driving growth, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high customer service standards, and supporting financial performance.

Reporting To: General Manager

Minimum Requirements

  • Post-matric qualification in General Management advantageous; Sales, Marketing, or Management diploma preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience at mid-management level.
  • Financial knowledge of budgets, forecasting, and profit & loss management.
  • Grade B Security Certificate (existing or to be obtained upon appointment).
  • Experience in the Security Industry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership

  • Provide strong leadership to the branch and team members.
  • Communicate the branch vision, strategy, and performance objectives.
  • Make timely, strategic decisions to support branch growth and long-term success.

Finance, Planning & Controls

  • Submit and manage budget plans, stretch targets, and monthly business plans.
  • Ensure accurate financial forecasting and manage branch P&L to sustain profitability and growth.
  • Oversee effective collections and cost control measures.

Operations

  • Implement effective planning and production controls to increase productivity and quality.
  • Maintain operational efficiency while reducing costs through modern processes.
  • Monitor customer service metrics and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Engage proactively with local communities and forums to drive service initiatives.
  • Manage the branch fleet to prevent operational disruptions.
  • Conduct client visits related to contact crimes and other operational matters.

Health, Safety & Environment

  • Maintain health and safety policies in compliance with company standards and legal requirements.

Marketing

  • Drive branch marketing initiatives with an annual activation plan.
  • Enhance customer perception through surveys and address feedback effectively.
  • Build a strong social media presence and leverage influencers to promote the branch.
  • Implement content-creation strategies to maintain relevance online.

Commercial

  • Review customer requirements and feedback regularly.
  • Collaborate with the branch sales team and explore new market and product opportunities.
  • Provide creative, commercially viable solutions to meet technical customer demands.

People Management

  • Identify staff training and development needs and provide coaching.
  • Manage all HR-related activities, including recruitment, termination, and staff development.

Business Development

  • Identify Residential Guarding and bulk sale opportunities with operational managers.
  • Generate proposals for bulk business and Residential Guarding sites.
  • Drive community involvement through operational collaborations.
  • Manage the profitability and sustainability of Residential Guarding schemes.

Attrition & Retention Management

  • Monitor and manage client attrition, implementing strategies to retain clients.
  • Drive client reconnections and mitigate financial risks through effective sales channel management.

Competencies (Technical & Behavioural)

  • Computer literate: MS Office, advanced Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of operations, sales, technical, and administrative functions.
  • Integrity, trust, and people-focused leadership.
  • Effective command and time management skills.
  • Business acumen with a results-driven and customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to manage and measure work while building high-performing teams.
