An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Human Resources Manager to play a key role in driving people strategy within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business, operational, and quality objectives while ensuring strong governance and a positive workplace culture.
The Human Resources Manager will support workforce planning, partner with line management on end-to-end people management, and oversee all operational HR processes. Responsibilities include managing recruitment and onboarding, ensuring legal and ethical compliance, guiding transformation initiatives, and leading performance management practices. Strong expertise in human resources, industrial relations, and organisational development is essential to support informed business decision-making and sustainable growth.
Candidate Requirements
- BCom, BA Industrial Psychology, BTech Human Resource Management, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 15 years’ proven HR and large-scale industrial relations experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in a senior HR Manager or HR Business Partner role
- FMCG or manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ payroll experience
- Knowledge of ethical auditing standards, including SEDEX and SMETA
- Extensive practical knowledge of BCEA, LRA, OHSA, SDA, COIDA, EEA, POPI, and related legislation
- Strong analytical capability with excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to lead change and operate effectively in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
