About the Program
Truworths, one of South Africa’s leading fashion retailers, is seeking a Head Office Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit team. This role provides exposure to both local and international entities within the Truworths Group (South Africa & UK) and offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, growth-focused environment with talented professionals. The position is ideal for individuals who value accountability, consistency, and sustained performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk and control assessments, process design evaluations, and identify opportunities for improvement in financial and operational processes.
• Perform integrated audits and risk-based process audits.
• Execute control design testing, effectiveness testing, and substantive testing, including analytical reviews.
• Prepare clear and comprehensive audit reports.
• Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant B-degree.
• Professional certification (e.g., CIA) advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Internal Audit.
• Experience performing end-to-end risk-based audits independently.
• Exposure to Finance Department auditing is advantageous.
• Internal Audit and retail sector experience is a plus.
