About the Role

FlySafair is seeking a customer-focused Groups Agent to manage and coordinate group travel bookings while delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth communication, accurate processing, and a positive experience for all group clients.

Job Description

  • Coordinate and manage all group bookings from enquiry through to confirmation;
  • Respond to calls, emails, and other communications from current and prospective passengers;
  • Provide accurate information, process booking changes, assist with lost property, special requirements, and new reservations;
  • Ensure timely, professional, and courteous responses to all client interactions;
  • Verify client payments, capture passenger details, and manage group amendments;
  • Prepare and follow up on group quotations, guiding clients throughout the booking process;
  • Identify recurring customer issues and provide feedback to management for continuous improvement;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients;
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

Job Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential);
  • Call centre experience (Preferred);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Experience with Zendesk, telephony systems, Raddix, and PayU (Advantageous);
  • Willingness to work overtime when required;
  • Ability to work shifts;
  • Strong knowledge of FlySafair products and services.
