About the Role
FlySafair is seeking a customer-focused Groups Agent to manage and coordinate group travel bookings while delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth communication, accurate processing, and a positive experience for all group clients.
Job Description
- Coordinate and manage all group bookings from enquiry through to confirmation;
- Respond to calls, emails, and other communications from current and prospective passengers;
- Provide accurate information, process booking changes, assist with lost property, special requirements, and new reservations;
- Ensure timely, professional, and courteous responses to all client interactions;
- Verify client payments, capture passenger details, and manage group amendments;
- Prepare and follow up on group quotations, guiding clients throughout the booking process;
- Identify recurring customer issues and provide feedback to management for continuous improvement;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients;
- Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
Job Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential);
- Call centre experience (Preferred);
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Experience with Zendesk, telephony systems, Raddix, and PayU (Advantageous);
- Willingness to work overtime when required;
- Ability to work shifts;
- Strong knowledge of FlySafair products and services.
