Job Purpose

The Flight Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of passengers while delivering a consistently positive onboard experience. This role requires strict adherence to aviation safety regulations, professional service standards, and administrative compliance in support of Flysafair’s operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Safety, Security & Compliance

• Ensure continuous compliance with all applicable aviation safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform all safety-related duties to protect passengers, crew, and aircraft at all times.
• Maintain high standards of administrative accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Passenger Service & Experience

• Deliver efficient, courteous, and professional onboard service to ensure a positive passenger experience.
• Communicate clearly and confidently with passengers, providing assistance and reassurance when required.
• Promote and uphold the values of integrity, professionalism, and customer care throughout all interactions.

Job Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Current and valid SACAA Cabin Crew Licence.
• Valid Avmed DD50 Medical Certificate.
• Valid Dangerous Goods Certificate.
• Valid Ditching Certificate.
• Valid Fire Fighting Certificate.
• Valid South African driver’s licence.
• Level 4 English language proficiency.
• Medically fit and able to swim.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, early morning sign-ons, and late evening sign-offs.

• High commitment to safety with the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
• Professional conduct and behaviour with unquestionable integrity.

• Immaculate timekeeping and reliability.
