Job Purpose

The Flight Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of passengers while delivering exceptional in-flight service. This role requires strict adherence to safety regulations, professional conduct, and administrative compliance to support Flysafair’s operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure continuous compliance with all applicable aviation safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Perform safety duties to protect passengers, crew, and aircraft at all times.
• Maintain high standards of administrative compliance and documentation.

Passenger Service

• Provide professional, courteous, and efficient service to enhance the passenger experience.
• Assist passengers with inquiries, ensuring comfort and reassurance during flights.
• Uphold a high level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions.

Job Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Current and valid SACAA Cabin Crew License.
• Valid Avmed DD50 Medical Certificate.
• Valid Dangerous Goods Certificate.
• Valid Ditching Certificate.
• Valid Fire Fighting Certificate.
• Valid South African driver’s licence.
• Level 4 English language proficiency.
• Medically fit and able to swim.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, early mornings, and late evenings.

• Professional, with high standards of behaviour and conduct.
• Strong commitment to safety and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Well-groomed with full adherence to company uniform and grooming standards.
• No visible tattoos.
• Immaculate timekeeping and reliability.
