About the Program
Truworths is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Supervisor to join the Expense Creditors team. The role focuses on optimizing departmental processes, providing strong leadership, and ensuring effective communication with both the team and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of Expense Creditors staff.
• Support day-to-day accounts payable operations, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely processing of invoices.
• Review and validate processed invoices and GL distributions for accounting and reporting accuracy.
• Build and modify payments within Oracle Financials and monitor weekly and monthly payment runs.
• Manage month-end accounts payable close processes in line with timelines.
• Review monthly supplier reconciliations and resolve supplier queries promptly.
• Oversee YDE designer payments.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by Management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Matric with a Finance qualification.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience in a finance retail environment advantageous.
• Supervisory experience and working within a team dynamic preferred.

Competencies

• Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Oracle Financials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle and resolve queries accurately and timeously.
• Organised, focused, and able to prioritise work effectively.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Attention to detail with good energy, positive attitude, and ability to multi-task.
• Team-oriented with strong leadership capabilities.
