DOCUMENT TECHNICIAN – Sab Vacancies

As a Document Technician, you will ensure the effective operation of the PDM system by capturing, updating, and auditing documents, supporting quality management, and maintaining accurate records to drive operational efficiency and compliance.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Promote quality awareness across the site
• Own and manage Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for the quality management system
• Support non-conformance management and ensure closure of all loops
• Assist in planning, developing, and implementing the Quality Management System within the brewery
• Align document control goals with overall business strategy
• Implement and maintain quality management processes
• Act as site champion for document and record keeping, ensuring PDM is managed according to SAP configuration
• Ensure all documentation, including work practices, is up-to-date and process-reflective
• Encourage accountability for document management among key personnel
• Develop and maintain procedures, work instructions, SOPs, and site-specific policies for document control and records
• Plan and manage internal and external audits

Key Attributes and Competencies

• Strong knowledge and experience with food safety systems and standards
• Computer literate with interest in data management
• Good understanding of AB-InBev manufacturing processes and philosophies
• Ability to integrate and facilitate multidisciplinary teams and functions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Results-driven with a focus on operational excellence

Minimum Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Sciences or equivalent
• 3-year related tertiary qualification
• 3–5 years’ experience in quality assurance with solid understanding of systems and brewery processes
• Previous auditing experience advantageous
