Job Description
Fidelity is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our team at the N1 City office. This role is central to managing and optimizing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collections and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact clients proactively to follow up on outstanding payments and negotiate payment arrangements.
- Analyze account balances to identify delinquent accounts and develop strategies for resolution.
- Use strong communication and negotiation skills to secure timely debt collection.
- Maintain accurate and current records of all collection activities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment issues and enhance cash flow.
- Prepare and dispatch collection letters and notices as required.
- Monitor payment statuses and update the collections database promptly.
- Provide management with regular reports on collection activities and progress.
Experience & Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Previous experience in collections or accounts receivable preferred.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build client rapport.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collection software.
- Knowledge of collection laws and regulations is an advantage.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
