Role Overview
As a Broker Consultant within the SanlamConnect East Coast Region, you will act as the key interface between brokers and SanlamConnect, driving business objectives in a dynamic and high-performance environment. You will promote Sanlam products, strengthen broker relationships, and support brokers in growing their practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and market Sanlam products effectively.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with brokers.
- Provide efficient support and service to brokers.
- Achieve and exceed individual and regional sales targets.
- Assist brokers in optimising and expanding their business operations.

Qualifications and Experience
- Completed degree in Business, Commerce, or Marketing.
- Postgraduate diploma in Financial Planning, RFP3, Wealth Management, or similar advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the financial services industry.
- Proven goal and target orientation.
- Sales and marketing-focused with a natural ability to build relationships.
Knowledge and Skills
- Experience in the financial services industry, specifically life insurance.
- Minimum of one year working directly with brokers.
- Solid understanding of marketing principles and sales techniques.
- Experience in third-party marketing and business development.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory legislation and compliance requirements.
