Role Overview
We are seeking a Branch Consultant to drive sales, client service, and retention within our branch network. The role involves promoting Sanlam Retail Mass products, optimizing client relationships, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the branch’s overall market growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Sanlam Retail Mass products, increasing market share through professional financial advice and excellent client service.
  • Identify opportunities for client optimisation and cross-selling value-added services.
  • Deliver branch sales targets and provide exceptional in-branch client service.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance, quality, and risk management standards.
  • Plan and report on branch sales and service activities on a monthly basis.
  • Engage effectively with key internal and external stakeholders, including Area Managers, Business Owners, community forums, and activation sites, to build and maintain relationships.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales or marketing; experience in insurance branches advantageous.
  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • RE5 certification advantageous
  • FAIS Compliance (Wealth Management) as per DOFA requirements
