Back-End Developer – Affinity Health Vacancies

We are looking for a skilled Back-End Developer with strong expertise in .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, and React to design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software solutions. This senior role includes technical leadership, mentoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead back-end development, architecture, and design of scalable software solutions
• Develop and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and related technologies
• Perform code reviews, optimise performance, and ensure high software quality
• Mentor junior developers and guide the team in best practices and technical decisions
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver reliable applications
• Contribute to technical documentation and continuous improvement initiatives

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5–7+ years’ experience in back-end development
• Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, React, SQL, and software design patterns (MVC, MVVM, SOLID)
• Experience with scalable systems, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and microservices
• Leadership and mentoring experience within a development team
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and debugging skills
• Strong collaboration, communication, and project management abilities
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends
