About the Program:
Job Description
- Inspect all incoming aircraft and major module records to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Perform detailed record reviews in accordance with lease agreements and company standards.
- Compile and manage Open Item Listings to highlight discrepancies and communicate effectively with lessors.
- Report outstanding issues to Legal and Asset Management teams during technical acceptance processes.
- Conduct offsite inspections for aircraft inductions, including physical record verification and aircraft condition checks when required.
- Support compliance activities, including preparation for Certificate of Airworthiness inspections.
- Coordinate lease return processes for aircraft, engines, and major modules.
- Work closely with maintenance planners and records administrators to align on induction, lease return, and documentation requirements.
- Schedule inductions, deliveries, and annual lessor inspections in collaboration with planning teams.
- Compile, issue, and track work orders to MRO providers, ensuring all documentation remains current and accurate.
- Capture ATLRs and component movement data for aircraft entering the fleet.
- Assist with closing work orders and verifying maintenance completion from MROs.
- Maintain and update aircraft and major module logbooks for fleet movements.
- Review completed work orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Support the issuing of CRS and CRMA documentation following maintenance activities.
- Create ad-hoc work orders as operationally required.
- Ensure compliance with all ADs, SBIs, EOs, and ASBs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Identify non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions to maintain standards.
- Analyse stakeholder requirements and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration across teams.
- Supervise, guide, and develop direct reports, providing technical insights and performance support.
Job Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Technical Diploma (Advantageous)
- Aircraft type rating relevant to FlySafair fleet (Advantageous)
- Certificate in Maintenance Planning (Advantageous)
- 8–12 years’ experience in aircraft planning or records within a mid-sized organisation (Essential)
- Experience on B737 aircraft (Advantageous)
- Willingness to travel both locally and internationally
- Willingness to work overtime when required
