Job Overview
The Key Account Manager SecureDrive is responsible for managing client relationships effectively while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role focuses on client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders in all aspects of the SecureDrive service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships to ensure needs and expectations are consistently met
- Address queries related to the tracking portal, new fitments, repairs, stolen vehicle recoveries, and other operational issues
- Manage and resolve issues with internal and external customers promptly
- Prepare and present reports to clients and support internal reporting requirements
- Maintain and reconcile client databases, ensuring anomalies are addressed quickly
- Oversee day-to-day operations including new fitments, repairs, de-installations, and reinstallations
- Ensure customer branches have appropriate marketing material and training to promote tracking units effectively
- Train relevant personnel on the use of the fleet portal, app, and other product features
- Conduct regular health checks to identify units requiring repair and take necessary action
- Monitor staff on client premises to ensure professionalism, punctuality, productivity, and quality of work
- Implement controls over stock and SIM cards related to the account
- Plan new fitments efficiently and ensure accurate system updates for vehicle details
- Manage de-installed or deactivated units to prevent billing errors
- Support timely collections of outstanding invoices and process additional billing as per SLA agreements
- Assist with stock forecasting, budgeting, and operational planning
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies and procedures
- Source and acquire new business within B2B and SME sectors through prospecting initiatives
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong computer skills, especially Excel and data analysis (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Prior experience in Telematics advantageous
