Job Description

The Customer Care Senior Admin Clerk is responsible for overseeing administrative and customer care operations, ensuring accurate reporting, effective communication, and exceptional service delivery. This role supports operational efficiency by supervising team performance, coordinating schedules, and acting as a key liaison between internal departments and retailers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile, analyse, and report on delivery and service performance statistics to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor overtime, absenteeism, and timekeeping, including scheduling staff for weekends and public holidays
  • Conduct regular departmental meetings to drive performance and alignment
  • Ensure prompt and effective responses from the team across Channel Mobile and associated platforms
  • Allocate and delegate administrative duties to optimise productivity and meet operational requirements
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between operational teams and retailers
  • Escalate and resolve retailer concerns while supporting team members in complex customer interactions
  • Maintain a strong focus on delivering exceptional internal and external customer care
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor customer care team members on best practices, processes, and service standards
  • Perform ad hoc administrative and operational duties as required

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12) certificate
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills
  • 3–4 years’ experience in Logistics, Administration, or Customer Service
  • Proven supervisory or team leadership experience, or readiness to progress into a leadership role
  • Proficiency in AS400 and multiple communication platforms, including AgentChat, Email, and WhatsApp
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and perform effectively under pressure
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
  • High level of reliability, accuracy, and attention to detail
