Introduction
Pepkor Vacancies is seeking a driven and customer-focused Salesperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling products, delivering outstanding customer service, and building long-term customer relationships. This role plays a key part in achieving sales targets and supporting the overall growth of the business.
Role Purpose
To generate income and maximise profitability through effective sales and service delivery while ensuring a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily sales activities to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Drive income growth by meeting set sales budgets
- Attract and retain customers through effective merchandising standards
- Handle cash and credit processes in line with company policies
- Engage with customers in a professional, customer-centric manner
- Contribute positively to teamwork and effective self-management
- Support branch operations and stand in for the Branch Manager when required
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 qualification
- 7–12 months sales experience, preferably within a retail environment
