Job Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. You will be the primary point of contact for our online community, creating, publishing, and managing content across multiple platforms. You will analyse performance metrics, craft strategic responses, and enhance the company’s digital footprint and brand visibility while working closely with Marketing and Customer Care teams.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and engagement opportunities.
  • Manage organic and paid campaigns, tracking KPIs and optimizing performance.

Content Creation & Calendar Management

  • Contribute to creating engaging content for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and WhatsApp.
  • Develop and maintain a social media calendar for consistent posting.
  • Collaborate with designers and content creators to finalize campaign content.
  • Coordinate live coverage for events or campaigns.

Community Engagement & Customer Interaction

  • Respond promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and reviews.
  • Monitor sentiment, track feedback, and work with Customer Care on FAQs.
  • Manage direct messages and bot interactions on social platforms.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Use analytics tools to monitor engagement, reach, and sentiment.
  • Generate reports and provide recommendations for campaign improvements.
  • Support crisis communication with timely, strategic responses.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influencer Relations

  • Work with Marketing, Product, and Customer Care teams to align social media initiatives with business goals.
  • Manage and nurture influencer relationships to amplify campaigns.

Event Coverage & Content Innovation

  • Capture and create content at social events to expand brand visibility.
  • Stay updated with social media trends and innovations to keep content fresh and relevant.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 3+ years in a social media or similar role, preferably in Fintech or mass-market industries.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent written communication for posts, FAQs, and customer engagement.
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Brandwatch) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to guide and contribute to creative content and campaigns with insights and strategy.
