Warehouse Supervisor – SAB Vacancies
Job Purpose
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, productivity, quality standards, and safe practices are maintained. This role leads a team to achieve operational excellence, improve KPIs, and drive continuous improvement within the warehouse environment.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Lead and perform morning inventory counts
- Identify root causes of inventory variances and implement action plans using problem-solving tools
- Improve Inventory Accuracy KPI and reduce Supply Chain overheads
- Create and manage warehouse tools to ensure FEFO (First Expired, First Out) compliance
- Monitor and trend inventory accuracy
- Ensure all material movements are accurately reflected in SAP
Layout Implementation
- Ensure warehouse layout compliance for zones such as Empties, Refusal, Order Picking, Repack, and Finished Goods
- Monitor and enforce location-based inventory systems and blocking standards for non-conforming stock
Quality and Compliance
- Track and manage warehouse cleanliness, pest control adherence, temperature control, and prevention of cross-contamination
- Ensure compliance with Global Warehouse GOP (75%)
- Conduct product quality induction programs
- Monitor and improve repacking operations for quality and productivity
Picking Standards
- Enforce standardized picking processes and ensure safe and productive practices
- Monitor picking accuracy and productivity through management tools
Productivity and Capacity
- Achieve 75% compliance with Warehouse Labour Productivity GOP
- Allocate and manage labour using SKAP tools
Warehouse Management
- Implement, track, and improve 5S standards
- Support management cycle design including Business Descriptions, SLAs, Process Maps, and KPIs
- Develop, validate, and ensure understanding of SOPs through management routines
- Conduct team meetings to solve problems and drive performance
- Use problem-solving tools (5 WHY, Abnormality Reports, SIC, OPLs, RACI, OWDs, PDCA) to improve KPIs and PIs
- Cascade KPIs and PIs to individual team members, track performance, and monitor targets
Safety and Compliance
- Maintain a safe warehouse operation and drive compliance with all relevant safety protocols
- Monitor and improve loading and unloading productivity and efficiency
- Track and manage KPIs such as TCT, bay time utilization, and man-hour efficiency

Minimum Requirements
- 3-year relevant Diploma or Degree
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics operations
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office
- Experience with handheld warehouse devices
