Document Technician – SAB Vacancies

Job Overview
SAB is seeking a skilled Document Technician to support the brewery’s quality management and document control processes. The role ensures that all documentation and records are accurate, current, and aligned with business strategy, while actively promoting quality awareness and compliance across the site.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Drive quality awareness across the site and promote adherence to standards
• Own the Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for quality management system competence
• Support non-conformance management and ensure timely closure of corrective actions
• Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of the brewery’s Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Align document control goals with overall business strategy
• Support implementation of quality management processes
• Act as site champion for document and record keeping, ensuring SAP PDM system compliance
• Maintain and ensure all documentation, including work practices, is current and reflective of actual processes
• Motivate key personnel to take accountability for document management within their areas of responsibility
• Develop and maintain procedures, work instructions, standard operating practices, and site-specific policies for document control and records management
• Plan and manage internal and external audits related to documentation

Key Attributes and Competencies

• Sound knowledge and experience of food safety systems and standards
• Computer literate with strong data manipulation skills
• Good understanding of AB-InBev manufacturing processes and philosophies
• Proven ability to integrate and facilitate multi-disciplinary teams and specialist functions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Results-driven with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement

Minimum Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Sciences or equivalent
• 3–5 years’ experience in quality assurance or a related discipline
• Solid understanding of brewery processes and quality management systems
• Previous auditing experience is advantageous
