Truworths is looking for a skilled Planner to join our Buying and Planning teams, leveraging the latest merchandise systems to drive sales forecasting, financial management, and strategic product planning. This role is ideal for a solution-oriented professional who thrives on complex problem-solving and ensuring products are traded effectively from inception to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Fashion Merchandise Buyers and suppliers.
• Utilise international merchandise systems alongside bespoke in-house systems.
• Ensure the right merchandise mix reaches the right stores, at the right price, and on time.
• Develop, implement, and control all aspects of merchandise planning to maximise profitability and operational efficiency.
• Work cross-functionally with teams such as Distribution and Store Design to support seamless product execution.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3+ years of experience, preferably within a fashion retail environment.
• Relevant numerical tertiary qualification.
• Experience with systems such as Oracle, ProClarity, and PLM is advantageous.
