The Treasury Risk Manager will ensure the accuracy and integrity of risk reporting, focusing on hedging activities, review of financial results, accounting treatment, and validation of foreign exchange exposures within the Treasury Management System (IT2). This role owns risk management documentation, oversees daily risk operations, and applies risk management frameworks to identify opportunities in Forex and hedging strategies while championing process improvements that enhance reporting quality, governance, and overall risk capabilities.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Monitor financial markets (FX, commodity, and interest rates) to support strategy formulation and implementation for optimal hedging execution
  • Provide in-depth analysis and commentary on FX and interest rate markets, including timely reporting for the Global Group Treasury and ABInBev Finance community
  • Understand and ensure compliance with local financial risk regulations across markets
  • Formulate hedging strategies within Group Treasury Risk Policy guidelines and perform event-driven financial modeling and analysis
  • Execute hedges on behalf of countries, including spot and forward FX deals, and validate deals captured in IT2
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, internal policies, procedures, and service level agreements
  • Chair regular country calls to plan treasury execution, ensure FX policy compliance, and review exposure forecast accuracy
  • Conduct economic forecasting, trend analysis, and maintain relationships with banking partners
  • Negotiate and manage ISDA agreements with financial partners

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant degree in finance or related field
  • Solid understanding of finance and treasury operations
  • Strong analytical and insight-generation skills
  • 2–3 years’ experience in risk management
