Job Purpose
Manage, coordinate, and implement the organisation’s skills development and learning initiatives. Ensure compliance with legislation, effective grant and budget management, and alignment of learning programs with the Learning & Development (L&D) strategy to support overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage L&D and Skills Development plans
• Coordinate financial activities, including budgeting and SETA grant management
• Ensure governance, compliance, and risk management in all skills development initiatives
• Engage with stakeholders to coordinate learning programs and provide expert advice to line management
• Oversee general administration related to skills development activities, including reporting and documentation
• Manage WSP/ATR submissions, SETA grant processes, and B-BBEE Skills Development submissions and audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Commerce, or a related field
• Successful completion of SDF Education, Training and Development Practices (ETDP) SETA course
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Skills Development role
• Proven experience managing WSP/ATR submissions, SETA grants, and B-BBEE Skills Development compliance
• In-depth knowledge of South African employment legislation, including Skills Development Act, National Qualifications Framework Act, Skills Development Levies Act, SAQA Act, B-BBEE Act, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, and Employment Equity Act
• Strong financial acumen and budget tracking skills
• Excellent project coordination, execution, and organisational skills
• Advanced computer literacy (MS Office / Google Suite)
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
