Job Description

Pepkor is seeking an experienced Snr Mobile Developer to support, enhance, and scale our multi-faceted technology platform and associated third-party integrations. The role requires collaboration with Solutions Architects, Team Leads, and Product Managers to deliver high-quality mobile solutions aligned with business requirements. The Snr Mobile Developer will provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and ensure all changes meet performance benchmarks and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance enterprise mobile applications and third-party integrations.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Team Leads, and Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide accurate work estimates based on business and technical analysis.
• Work closely with QA teams to identify and resolve development and production issues.
• Ensure all changes are unit and integration tested, well-documented, and optimised for performance benchmarks.
• Assist with out-of-hours production releases and support when necessary.
• Mentor and support team members, promoting knowledge sharing and technical growth.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in software development.
• Experience with enterprise-scale application stacks.
• Exposure to the full software development lifecycle.

Technical Skills

• Swift for iOS development.
• Experience with Android and/or iOS app store deployment processes.
• Integration with RESTful APIs.

Advantageous Skills

• Kotlin for Android and Kotlin Multi-Platform.
• Android JetPack Compose.
• Identity Server authentication.
• Flutter development experience.
• Postman for API testing.
• Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Docker and CI/CD pipeline setup.
• Azure DevOps experience.
• SQL knowledge.
