About the Role:
Flysafair is looking for a dedicated Dangerous Goods/AVSEC Instructor to deliver high-quality training programs in Dangerous Goods (DG), Aviation Security (AVSEC), and Weight & Balance (W&B). This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards while developing the knowledge and skills of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ground training sessions for DG, AVSEC, and W&B.
• Prepare training rooms and ensure all materials are ready for use.
• Facilitate classroom and virtual training in line with the training manual and updated materials.
• Monitor trainee progress, provide feedback, and support individual development.
• Complete and distribute training documentation according to regulations and procedures.
• Develop and maintain high-quality training materials aligned with company policies, industry standards, and best practices.
• Assist senior trainers in resolving instructional challenges and addressing new educational needs.
• Identify opportunities to enhance training delivery and improve trainee experience.
• Assess organisational training needs and recommend appropriate programs.
• Stay current with relevant regulations, notices, directives, SOPs, and company policies.
• Conduct on-the-job training for employees.
• Support audit preparations and compliance activities.

Job Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential).
• Completion of Train the Trainer, Assessor, Moderator, and Coaching & Mentoring certifications (Essential).
• Current SACAA instructor certification in relevant areas (SMS, AVSEC, Cabin Crew, DG, W&B) (Advantageous).
• Diploma or Degree in Education, Training, or related field (Desirable).
• Minimum 2 years flying experience with demonstrated proficiency in DG, AVSEC, SMS, or W&B (Essential).
• Willingness to travel as required.
