About the Program
Truworths invites you to join South Africa’s leading fashion retailer as a Sourcing Coordinator, working in a fast-paced and innovative environment. This role is ideal for individuals with strong fashion knowledge, administrative skills, and international travel experience, responsible for sourcing adventurous and trend-driven products from overseas.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure fast and cost-effective purchase of finished goods.
• Negotiate prices, delivery dates, and styling changes with suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Understand workmanship and suggest options to adjust fabric or construction.
• Maintain discipline to meet critical path deadlines.
• Execute briefs accurately and ensure the PLM system is up to date.
• Apply trader instinct to grow the product portfolio.
• Identify win-win solutions between Buyers and suppliers.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience working directly with overseas suppliers.
• Strong administrative and written communication skills.
• Computer literate.
• Experience in a manufacturing or similar background preferred.
• Previous experience managing a Sourcing Assistant.
• Willingness and ability to travel abroad.
