Main Purpose of the Role

The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for automation, and delivering effective solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Robotic Process Automation. The role supports business objectives through structured analysis, project coordination, and successful implementation of technology-driven improvements.

Tertiary Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Computer Literacy Level

• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Additional Computer Skills

• Proven experience in Microsoft Power Platform development.
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting RPA solutions.

Job-Related Requirements

• 2–4 years’ experience in a Business Analyst role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills with proven stakeholder engagement experience.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Project management experience using Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Practical experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or similar platforms.
• Experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
• Project management certification will be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and validate requirements.
• Conduct workshops and requirement-gathering sessions across business units.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify automation and optimization opportunities.
• Document and maintain business process flows, functional specifications, and system changes.
• Collaborate with developers and solution architects to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Review, prioritize, and manage backlogs for automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Track, monitor, and resolve issues related to RPA bots and Power Platform applications.
• Perform testing and quality assurance on new features, enhancements, and automation solutions.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and blockers to relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and present weekly status reports on projects and automation initiatives.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate upcoming projects and enhancements in line with business priorities.
